PARC NATIONAL DES VOLCANS; Located in Northern part of the Rwanda between towering old volcanic s of about 15,000 feet, covered nearly by green rich rain forest- the virungas. This is the home of the rare moutane ecosystem which embrace ever green and bamboo forest, open grass land, swamp and heath. A trek through the vegetation brings you so closed to the foot hills of the Virungas offering stirring views in all directions. NATIONAL MUSEUMS AT BUTARE; Butare is one of the unique places considered to be the largest and important city prior to 1965.It is 135km North of Kigali. The intellectual and cultural centre are found here in this city and being a centre point of the National Museum centered point for a night stop towards Nunguwe primate National park. LAKE KIVU; Located in the 3 main towns of Gisenyi, Kibuye and Cyangugu which is near to the major attraction areas of Rushengeri the gorilla maiden place and the Virunga mountainous region. Lake Kivu is the largest fresh water body lake in the Region of Rwanda. The lake offers an opportunity of relaxation on beaches, fishing, in the ancient African life styles.
