Kampala the capital city of Uganda known as “ The garden city of Africa” is spread over several hills and derives it’s name from” Kasozi Kimpala” meaning “The hills of antelopes”. Kampala is made up of seven hills. The hills not only provide a beautiful backdrop to the city, but also its living history, its definition and they furnish unique points of orientation and identity.

Kampala is a vibrant and confident city, the centre of political intrigue, commercial activity and intellectual excellence in Uganda . Kampala is also the country’s largest urban centre by a factor of ten, with a population of 1.2 million according to the 2002 census.. It is known to be cultural and educational centre with plenty of cultural site and schools/ institutions. It is a safe and pleasant place to live in with plenty of entertainments, good hotels not forgetting the friendly people-it’s a graet place to spend some time.
